Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is a short and spectacular trip within the Annapurna region. The Annapurna Mardi Himal Trek takes you through ancient rhododendron forests to what feels like the face of the mountains themselves, as you come up close with Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Ganga Purna, and Annapurna I.

From the Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek, you can witness remarkable sunrise and sunset views from different vantage points. The range of flora and fauna seen only in the Himalayas provides an intriguing glimpse into the biodiversity of the mountains. On this trek, you’ll traverse novel, less-explored paths to reach the Mardi Himal Base Camp (4100m), and you’ll explore tranquil routes that pass through ethnic villages and lush farmlands. The Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek is a hidden gem that many have yet to discover. Along the way, you’ll encounter waterfalls, suspension bridges, and many other elements that are sure to make the journey interesting.

We begin our 11-day excursion in Kathmandu with visits to UNESCO World Heritage sites before heading to the shortest and quietest trek in the Annapurna region: the Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, we offer you pick up facility from the airport and manage your stay at the most comfortable hotel in the city. You get to meet the team of trekkers and together we prepare for the trek.

Our journey begins with a tourist bus ride of about 6 to 7 hours through lush green forests, meandering roads through the hills, and alongside gracefully flowing rivers. In Pokhara, you can explore the lakes, such as Phewa, visit caves, and enjoy the vibrant streets. In the evening, you can take a leisurely walk by the lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara

After breakfast in Pokhara, we drive to Phedi and begin our trek. Walking through villages and terraced fields, we reach Dhampus and continue to Pitam Deurali. The village offers stunning views of Annapurna, Mardi Himal, and Machhapuchhre. Overnight stay at Pitam Deurali.

Leaving Pitam Deurali behind we head towards Forest Camp. We walk through the tranquil trail through the rhododendron forest which offers the beautiful sight during the walk. We walk ahead until we reach the Forest Camp. Once there we will take rest for time and spend rest of the time exploring around. Overnight stay at Forest Camp.

We begin the day’s trek from Forest Camp, walking through lush forest trails filled with natural beauty. Reaching Low Camp, we rest and take in the stunning views—especially of Mount Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Overnight at Low Camp.

We hike uphill through rhododendron bushes, getting closer to Mardi Himal and Mount Machhapuchhre. After a scenic walk, we reach High Camp, where we’re rewarded with stunning mountain views. Overnight stay at High Camp.

Today we trek on a rugged trail with some ups and downs to reach Mardi Himal Base Camp. From here, we enjoy the closest views of peaks like Annapurna, Mardi Himal, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. After soaking in the scenery and taking photos, we return to High Camp. Overnight stay at High Camp.

From High Camp, we descend toward Sidhing, enjoying a pleasant walk through picturesque landscapes. The trail is easier here, making the journey relaxing. We reach Sidhing village. Overnight stay at Sidhing villag.

We leave Sidhing and walk a few easy hours to Lumre, where our trek ends. From Lumre, we drive back to Pokhara. After reaching the city, we relax at the hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening around the tourist areas. Overnight stay at Pokhara.
